We made Parade

Our sequencing of the first cancer genome made Parade Magazine’s Breakthroughs Of The Year. I guess we have really made it.

Wow, that’s pretty cool. It made it 4th on the list too. Not too shabby.

That is really encouraging that this came up on the radar of more mainstream America… like Parade. I would not have guessed it would have made a blip. Encouraging… we can only hope things like this have a positive effect on likelihood of future funding for more projects like these.

As a cancer survivor I wanted to let you know that I had three people ask me about genomics after the Parade piece. I did my best to explain and then sent them here.
